How is the smart readiness rating expressed?

Regulation

Answer:

The Smart Readiness Rating is expressed on the basis of seven Smart Readiness Classes, ranging from the highest to the lowest level of Smart Readiness. Each class corresponds to a range of total smart readiness scores as follows: 90–100%, 80–90%, 65–80%, 50–65%, 35–50%, 20–35% and below 20%. Each range can be assigned a letter in the same way as for the EPC, from A for the highest smart readiness to G for the lowest. However, this has not yet been included in the EU's common regulation, so each Member State could currently be establishing its own criteria, while always maintaining the seven classes and their corresponding ranges. For instance, France is currently using the classess A+++, A++, A+, A, B, C and D.
